October Challenge – A Christmas Poem

About the Challenge Well, the nights are drawing in and all of the local restaurants and pubs that are still open, seem to have dusted off last year’s menus and so I thought…why the devil not. So I’m pleased to say that October (and indeed November) sees us Challenging you to write a wee Christmas poem. But not just any Christmas poem – it has to make me laugh. The winning poet will not only have their poem out as our ‘Christmas Message’, but will also win a posh Xmas Hamper too. We’ll also do a wee Stickleback Anthology Download Thingy that we can share with the world too.
The Challenge:
  1. Write a Funny Christmas Poem
  2. Email your poem  to: COMPETITION@HEDGEHOGPRESS.CO.UK
  3. Obviously this is only open to members of the Cult of the Spiny Hog
  4. Deadline: 30th November 2021
The Prize:
  1. On Christmas Day the winning poem will be shared with the world
  2. A wee Downloadable Anthology Stickleback Thingy of the Shortlisted Poems will also appear down Chimneys the world over
  3. The winner will receive a posh hamper in time for Christmas
