March Challenge: Self Portrait

The March Cult Members-Only Challenge

Well, it may be a little late in the month, but I’m pleased to say that here is the March (and April if you need it) Cult Challenge. This time I want you to share a little of yourself. Tell us something we may not know – your ability to balance pennies on your elbow and catch them, perhaps, or that you have recently joined the landed gentry. If we are getting confessional, I once lied about my weight to sneak within the limit for a parachute jump. It was only when I was sat in the ‘plane that I started to wonder why it was they had a weight limit. So it is all about you, and we’ll do a series of postcards as, it has been a while.
AND THE WINNERS ARE… I’m pleased to say that we have Five Winners that will see their Self-Portrait immortalised in the form of a postcard. Although to be fair, I’m not really sure that postcards are really immortal, but who knows? Anyway, the winners are:
    1. Kerry Darbishire
    2. Oz Hardwick
    3. Iain Campbell
    4. Mark Saunders, and
    5. Mark Goodwin
Congratulations to all and thank you to everybody that took part:)
The Challenge:
  1. Write a Poem that is a Self Portrait in verse
  2. Email your poem in a single document to entry to: COMPETITION@HEDGEHOGPRESS.CO.UK
  3. Obviously this is only open to members of the Cult of the Spiny Hog
  4. Deadline: 30th April 2021

The Prize:
  1. We will publish a selection of postcards featuring the poems
  2. All those included will of course receive oodles of copies
  3. Cult members will obviously receive copies too
Have fun!
