We all need a wee bit of Magic in our lives, and you don’t need the ear of bat or a thimble full of toad water (??!) to come-up with a recipe for a better love or life. Better still a nice old-fashioned curse to plague somebody you don’t like with facial boils. Just me? OK, we’ll skip that. (ahem) This challenge asks you to write a Spell in Poem form – the best of which we will publish as a Spell Book of our own. So whether you have a Spell to catch a stranger’s eye, or would like to curse a lying politician, write us a poem so that we can all have it to hand when the occasion demands. There are no limits on length or poetic form.
The Challenge:
- Write a Spell in Poem form
- Email your poem in a single document to entry to: COMPETITION@HEDGEHOGPRESS.CO.UK
- Obviously this is only open to members of the Cult of the Spiny Hog
- Deadline: 31st August 2021
The Prize:
- We will publish ‘Spellbound’ a collection of poetic magic spells
- All those included will of course receive oodles of copies
- Cult members will obviously receive copies too
