“The Day I Stayed At Home From School With The Dog To Watch Ceefax” – Mr Ratcliffe (Print Edition)

Description

In The Day I Stayed At Home From School With The Dog To Watch Ceefax Adrian Ratcliffe invites us into a seminal day in his life, in a matter of fact take upon a legacy of abuse and how it was enabled, during his school days in the 1980s. Taking a Teletext style presentation and a distracted, barely into teenage air as the backdrop to the work, this slightly surreal and yet painfilled sequence is one that will stay with you.

The Day I Stayed At Home From School With The Dog To Watch Ceefax is the first of two autobiographical sequences and is published alongside A Room Without A View.

Mr Ratcliffe is a writer, musician and lover from Manchester, England. He sells his wares in the station car park and has done since 1979.

The Day I Stayed At Home From School With The Dog To Watch Ceefax and A Room Without A View  are the first two publications in our Little Black Book series, and are beautifully produced in the smaller, pocket-sized A6 size.
