“The Crimson Spine Pocket Book #8” – A Poetry Pamphlet Competition Deadline: 31st December 2025

Our Crimson Spine Pocket Books are something new from The Hedgehog Poetry Press, and this Competition will see the winner(s) have their work beautifully published in one of our gorgeously produced pamphlets during 2024.

Not only that, but they will also receive 100 Copies for their very own.

The Crimson Spines have 16 pages available for poetry and they are really very special ‘objet.’

1. To be Clear:

The winner will be published by The Hedgehog Poetry Press and receive 100 copies of their collection.

The competition will be judged by Mark Davidson, Editor of The Hedgehog Poetry Press.

The Winning Pamphlet will be Published during 2026.

Rules:

1. 1. Poets should pay to enter the competition via the Hedgehog Poetry Press web site
   2. The entry should have a maximum of 16 Pages of Poetry or Images
   3. Any Images must be your own work or Royalty Free and in the Public Domain
   4. Each page of the Crimson Spine Pamphlets can contain a MAXIMUM of 30 lines of poetry, including line spaces.
      i.e. You have 16 Pages of 30 lines to fill
   5. All poems must be submitted by email to COMPETITION@HEDGEHOGPRESS.CO.UK in a single file in Word, TXT or RTF format, after payment has been made via this web site
   6. Entry is FREE for Cult members, who need only email their entry.
   7. All work must be your own and must not have been previously published in a book or collection by a traditional publisher. Magazine published poems are acceptable as are previously self-published collections.
   8. Judges decision is final
   9. Deadline for entries is 31st December 2025 at 11.59pm
   10. Competition results will be published on the Hedgehog Press web site and via our Email Newsletter on or prior to the 15th January 2026
   11. Where an entry contains work by more than one poet/artist, the 100 copies will be split evenly between the participants
