Stickleback XXXIX:
by
Lisa Lopresti

Lisa (she/her/they/them) is a working- class poet from Banksy’s Bristol with poetry published in anthologies and magazines such as Ink, Sweat & Tears and Acumen. Her slim-line poetry pamphlet, Birdsong and Nectar in the Silences, was reviewed in Acumen as being ‘most enjoyable’ and ‘slightly uproarious’. Lisa is a feature poet at spoken word and open mic events and she is thrilled to be regularly broadcast on local BBC Radio.
Red Claw and Velvet – (stickleback micro-pamphlet) is a small collection of Eco Poetry, plastic, pollution, destructive industries and how nature can rebalance if only we let her be.
Acknowledgements – ‘Dancing Ledges’, in an earlier version, was long listed for The Dai Fry Poetry Competition 2022 by Black Bough and included in the Anthology- Sun-Tipped Pillars of our Hearts.
