“Scrambled Lives on Buttered Toast” – Ceinwen E Cariad Haydon (Print Edition)

Description

These poems consider life, embodiedness, dilemmas, the passing of time and inevitable endings: stories that reflect our visceral experiences of both. The pieces question what anchors us to our worlds and what sets us adrift, what values impact on us and determine our actions. If we are fortunate, our scrambled lives are sustained by comforts as simple as hot, buttered toast.
