Louise G Cole

Originally from Worcestershire, Louise G Cole now lives in Ireland. She writes poetry, short stories and flash fiction and has won or been placed in local, national and international writing competitions. She won a Hennessy Award in 2018 when a Dublin pub was (briefly) re-named in her honour. She was chosen by Carol Ann Duffy for publication of the Laureate’s Choice poetry pamphlet ‘Soft Touch’ in 2019.  During the pandemic, Louise has been posting weekly creative writing prompts on her website, where she also explains the importance of the ‘G’ in her name (it avoids confusion with an underwear model):
