‘A Restricted View From Under the Hedge,’ or ‘Arfur’ if like me you can’t be bothered to type such a long name, launched for the first time in March 2018 containing a selection of poetry we are proud of and all manner of interviews and reviews that we couldn’t quite believe our luck to arrange.
Like all magazines, we rely on the fact that people want to purchase the odd copy here and there for us to keep the wheels on the road, so if you would like to buy a copy either in printed or PDF download form, it would be much appreciated:
Including new work from Chen Chen, D.M. Thomas, Robert Sheppard, Sophie Hannah, Mimi Khalvati, Bill Herbert, Megan Falley, Moniza Alvi, Sanjeev Sethi and Eileen Myles.
Including new work from Chen Chen & Sam Herschel Wein, Eileen Carney Hulme, Rohini Kapil, Serena Mayer, Sanjeev Sethi, Moniza Alvi, Martin Malone, Kristin Garth, Ali Jones, Phil Vernon, Sophie Hannah, Ceinwen E. Cariad Haydon, Bhanu Kapil and many others.
Including new work from Jeremy Reed, Christopher Levenson, Anna Saunders, Fred D’Aguiar, John F. Deane, Sheenagh Pugh, Andy Brown, Debjani Chatterjee, Arundhathi Subramaniam, Andrew Grieg, Penelope Shuttle, Geoff Hattersley, to name but a few.
Arfur is to be published four times each year in April, July, October and January
If you wish to submit up to Five Poems for consideration for our magazine, please simply email them to email@example.com.
We prefer to receive them in RTF, DOC, DOCX or TXT format if possible.
We will accept submissions at any time on the basis that work that is accepted will be placed in the next available magazine. However, we are flexible if there is a good reason.
If you have a collection or anthology of poetry that you would like us to consider for review in ‘Arfur’ please email in the first instance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note we only now review Printed Copies of Books and Pamphlets. We don’t distinguish between traditionally or self-published work.
