AND THE WINNER IS … “A Proper Poetry Pamphlet Competition #07″

Well, what can I say – this week is already somewhat weird and I have a feeling that the next six months is only going to be more so.

But today I am pleased to say that a truly special collection is the penultimate ‘Proper Poetry Pamphlet’ and will most definitely be published before the end of March 2026.

But getting on with it, I am pleased to say that the Shortlisted Poets are, in no particular order:

    1. Amanda Hill (Commended)
    2. Dorothy Yamamoto
    3. Laura Davis
    4. Helen Pizzey
    5. Oz Hardwick
    6. Gavin Bourke (Highly Commended)
    7. Chris Hemingway (Highly Commended)
    8. Carmella de Keyser (Commended)
    9. Katie Beswick
    10. Lizzie Ballagher

However, there can only be one winner, and I am please to say it is the rather wonderful:

Oz Hardwick

for his collection “Actioning the New University”

So many congratulations to our winner, and to all of those Shortlisted and Commended.
