Cult Challenge: June 2025: “Covid, With Perspective”

After the Pandemic ™ – Lockdowns – Fraud, Masks and everything else, there was an outpouring of poetry as we all tried to make sense of what the hell was happening and where it would all end-up.

And for some of us, it isn’t all over even now, but time does give a perspective and I thought that five years later, perhaps it was worth revisiting it all.

So this challenge is simple, write – or even – re-write a poem that looks at the whole Covid emergency, but with the benefit of perspective.

To be clear:

    1. Write a Poem that looks back on Covid, what happened, what we were told or believed and with the benefit of our current perspective explain how it feels now.

Rules:

    1. There are no length constraints
    2. You must be a Cult Member to submit your poem – sending it to competition@hedgehogpress.co.uk
    3. Send the poem by 11.59pm on the 31st of July 2025
