Well, I’m the first to admit that I like trying new things, and that they don’t always work out as planned, but one that I definitely love that has in fact turned out better than I hoped is my slightly lots of a City Lights inspired cover and shaped Crimson Spine series of wee books that we launched this year.
There are a few more to come in the next days and weeks, but I am so pleased to finally and officially unveil the rather lovely cover of a stunning collection of poetry from Emma Woodford.
Wingless I Watch is brilliant in many ways, but there is a calm to it as well as a power that I think will really capture the imagination – and breath – when you come to read it.
This one is a truly special thing in a beautiful form and I can’t wait for people to see it in the new year.
More details on Pre-orders soon, but this is to be released on the 4th of January – so don’t miss out.
Just saying.
And of course a special book needed a rather cool soundtrack, and I am pleased to say that it was Godspeed You! Black Emperor – Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven that I was listening to whilst fettling this wee thing..enjoy!
