A Hog Blogs: A COVER REVEAL: “Somewhere a Tree waits for an Angel or a Butterfly” – Eileen Carney Hulme

Well, I think I should have called this ‘Crimson Week’ as not only have we the results imminently soon for our second Competition, but tomorrow we will have Pre-orders opening for Katrina Moinet’s stunning debut collection and first-ever-Crimson-spine-collection.

But, as they say in all of the best TV Shopping Experiences, that is not all – as I am proud to be able to unveil, shimmy down the catwalk and generally sashay whilst  shouting OMG and point at …

The cover for Eileen Carney Hulme’s debut collection for Hedgehog, and equally divine collection Somewhere a Tree waits for an Angel or a Butterfly.

This collection is simply perfect and I think anybody that knows me, understands just how much I have loved Eileen’s poetry for a long long time, so this is a proper treat and honour for me to publish.

Pre-orders will open soon – so get your poetry-vouchers ready.. :)

Needless to say, every collection fettled needs a soundtrack, and whilst I must admit I did listen to the Mighty Hothouse Flowers in Eileen’s honour, the one I was listening to most was something equally genius fiddly and yet diddly, one of my favourites of all time, the rather wonderful The Bothy Band

  1. Can’t thank you enough Mark for your kind words and the care you’ve taken with my book, I am so humbled by your words and thrilled to see this collection out in the world.
    Eileen 🙏
