Well, I have to say that this collection – complete with some fantastic full-colour photography – is an absolute treat from the rather brilliant Penny Sharman, and when it hits the shelves at the end of this month, it will certainly be quite the thing about town.
Penny is brilliant.
Actually, I don’t need to say any more than that, apart from that, when pre-orders open, don’t be shy – because, well, Penny is brilliant.
That is all.
Needless to say that a brilliant poet with a brilliant book, can’t expect half measures when it comes to a fettling soundtrack and I am rather chuffed to say that this time it was Softscars from Yeule, who if you like Wolf Alice, Bjork and maybe even Hole with a bit of L7 on the side, you will think divine.
