A Hog Blogs: In Exile Whilst The Walls Come-a-Tumbling-Down

Well, I never had any choice in the matter, but I have to say that it was poor timing with the whole web site upgrade thing, coinciding with my being away for the weekend with what turned-out to be hopeless Wifi in a Mobile phone data thing blackspot, but in truth maybe that wasn’t a bad thing as as far as the webby site goes,  as I couldn’t do much apart from wait anyway.

And tonight is the night when it gets ‘flipped’ – the big bang approach that went so well in the ’80s – and we see if the world is still there in the morning.

So that s something to look forward to when I get home tomorrow (gulp!)

Which might be a bit drama-laden but there we are.

But the weekend did include a bit of Hedghoggery and if nothing else I got some book fettling done or partially done, which will see us zoom forward again this week.

One I will hopefully share soon is a long awaited Selected Poems from the rather brilliant Gill McEvoy, that is an utter joy.

I love the cover and I think you will too when you see it later this week. (I’d share it now, but I haven’t got the bandwidth bab.)

Other than that, all of this was done to a soundtrack of Rory Gallagher, which is always awesome

  1. Oh the things that are sent to try us! Did I ever mention that earlier this year I was one of the winners of a poetry comp in celebration of Rory Gallagher 🎸
