A Hog Blogs: Cover Reveal: Nigel Kent’s ‘Fall’

And so it goes on, this time of wonder and madness and unusual activity, as I am more than chuffed to share with you the cover for the latest pamphlet from the pen of one of my favourite poets, Mr Nigel Kent.

And ‘Fall’ is a bit of a departure for Nigel, and yet one that he carries off perfectly. It is always gratifying to see poets stretch themselves and come out the other side stronger, and this is very much the case in point here. A whole new dimension for a poet who’s work I carry always anyway.

More details on it’s release soon, but for now, what a cover.

Needless to say, the fettling of cover and word had a soundtrack to support me in the long and cold hours at the poetry coalface, and in this case it was a solo album, Electric Trim, from Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth fame, from a couple of years ago, that I must admit I go back to every couple of weeks.

See what you think…
