Well, obviously things are flying at the moment and long may it be so, but I was particularly pleased to have started ‘work’ – like this is any kind of real work – on two, completely different Poetry Conversations, that will hopefully see the light of a coming day soon enough. I am still very much in love with the whole Poetry Conversation thing, and next year I am hoping to change things a wee bit so that there are more of them.
But for now, I have two quite awesome examples of the species and I can’t wait to get them out and read.
The first, I don’t mind admitting, is proving a challenge for me technically (mainly as I am hopeless at the technical part) but is well worth the effort, and is from the uber pairing of ‘Duchess’ Caroline Johnstone and her proper Royalness, ‘Dame’ Karen Mooney.
That is to be known as ‘Pivot Points and Portals‘, basically because that is it’s title and why would you change such a thing?
The second is a little different in terms of the angle of the dangle, but is equally brilliant and is from the delish pairing of ‘Louise Machen and J Daniel West‘.
That too has a name already and so shall stay that way, and will be publicly known as ‘The Words Of Others are All We Have‘
Anyway, both of these will be coming soon, and details of how you can get your peepers on them, no doubt to follow – you really have to check out the covers when I share them, proper swish and the words, well, in both cases you are in for a treat.
Other than that, these two had a gentle fettling whilst I was listening to a brilliant album from The Mysterines called ‘Reeling’. Because, life truly is a bitch, but I do like it. Most of the time.
