And as promised, here we have the second Cover Reveal of the week, and I don’t think that you would disagree with this being nothing like Elizabeth Barton’s one yesterday, but then why would it be?
Here we have a really classic looking cover which fits Jenna Plewes’ poetry perfectly, and the painting by Jane Easton is absolutely beautiful.
From there we took the ‘paper’ surround of the painting and used that for the rest of the front, back and inner cover, which gives a texture but is sparse enough that the words stand out.
As for the title and Jenna’s name on the front, we wanted to continue the artwork feel with a ‘handwritten’ font, with the green of Jenna’s name being taken from within the painting, so that tonally it flows, whilst the red of the title comes from outside of that range so that it ‘pops,’ as it were.
I’m really pleased with it as it looks classic and captures the poetry within perfectly. And what else is there?
Jenna’s collection will be available to pre-order soon, and personally I can’t wait :)

Oh yes that’s gorgeous!
It is lovely, isn’t it Eileen.
It sure is Mark.
