A Hog Blogs: And The Winner of the ‘A Baker’s Dozen – SEPT’ is…

I’m not quite sure what it says about my decisiveness, but for the second time in two days, I’m pleased to say that again I couldn’t choose between the final two collections in a competition I’m judging and so when I share the result of our Baker’s Dozen – Sept competition below, there cannot be only one at the end of things.

Which isn’t such a bad thing, as both of them are excellent and it means that happily, Hedgehog will get to publish both collections during 2024.

For the record, the shortlisted poets are:

        1. Ceinwen E Cariad Haydon
        2. Sue Lewis
        3. Dave Wynne-Jones
        4. Irene Cunningham (Highly Commended)
        5. Richard Smith
        6. Margaret Royall
        7. Phil Genoux
        8. Phil Santus
        9. Sarah Das Gupta (Commended)
        10. Chris Hemingway (Commended)

I am pleased and proud to say that the two winners who will see their quite brilliant collections published in 2024 by the Hog, are:

CEINWEN E CARIAD HAYDON
&
SUE LEWIS

and many thanks to everybody else that took part.
