Well today I’m pleased to say that we have another cover to reveal. I keep promising myself that in the interests of not boring people to death, that this Hoggyblog thing will be more sporadic, but as a lot is going on at the moment, I hope you can hang in there.
Today then I’m happy to share Torin and Zoë Sîobhan Howarth-Lowe’s cover for their poetry conversation “What An Amazing Place We’ve Been To”, and it is one that is as simple as it is effective, with the image totally evoking the words within, and what more do we need than that?
I said yesterday that Zoë had pretty much handled the page design for me inside the book, and it is the same as far as the cover goes. With both there are technical aspects that need to be put together so that it all prints in a straight line, spine widths are correct and everything else, but in this case it was a quick and simple job as the artwork and text layout was nigh on sorted.
Gorgeous. I’m looking forward to a copy arriving in my quarterly Hedgehog bundle.
Yes I think it will be in the current one… :)
