“Conversationally Yours – Deux” A Poetry Collaboration Competition – RESULTS

Over the last few years, we have published a series of Poetry Conversations, where two poets collaborate on what eventually becomes a beautiful wee collection of their work.

Starting with a topic the two poets work as a team, each taking it in turn to write a response to the the other’s previous poem.

This has seen some stunning work published by Nigel Kent and Sarah Thomson, Diana Devlin and Irene Cunningham and last year, Matt Duggan and María Castro Domínguez, Gaynor Kane and Karen Mooney, and Rosie Jackson and Dawn Gorman, each of whom have taken the idea and made something quite different from it.

This, our Second Annual Conversationally Yours Competition was looking for a new poetic chat to add to our list, but in the end there were FOUR that I simply couldn’t resist.

So I am proud to say that we will see all Four of our shortlisted Conversations published in the coming year.

These are Conversations between:

      1. Clíodhna Ní Aodáin & Lorraine Spring
      2. Amina Alyal & Oz Hardwick
      3. Eilín de Paor & Damien B Donnelly, and
      4. Brian McManus & Patricia M Osborne

So many congratulations to all of the winning poets and thank you to all that entered.
