Well, I do so love the whole 13 poem format for this wee competition and it seems to have taken a fair old while to get my head around who it is that I’ll be naming as a winner, and as with last year, in the end I really couldn’t split two of the collections, so there are Two Winners who will be invited to have their collection published in 2022 by the Hedgehog Press.
But, forgive me, I am getting ahead of myself and before we get to the winners
The Shortlisted Poets, are:
- Sue Ibrahim
- Kate Young
- Kelly Davis
- Peter A Kelly
- Jenny Robb
- Kerry Darbishire
- Roger Bloor
- Lisa Lopresti
With Kelly Davis and Kerry Darbishire being recognised as Highly Commended.
But with no further delay – I’m very much pleased to tell you that the winning collections are:
-
-
-
-
-
- Kate Young – “A Spark in the Darkness”
- Lisa Lopresti – ‘Birdsong and Nectar in the Silences’

Overall then, many thanks to everybody that entered and congratulations to the Shortlisted poets and winners alike.
