Well, blimey, this wasn’t an easy one to judge – the quality was shockingly good and I can happily say that if I had the pennies I would be publishing at least three times more collections than I am able to.
In fact, when it came down to it I genuinely couldn’t split two of the collections, which were completely different from each other but equally beguiling and so I am proud and chuffed to say that the Joint Winners of our Fourth Full Fat Collection Competition are:
Kerry Darbishire – Jardiniere
and
Hélène Demetriades – The Plumb Line
The Shortlisted Poets:
- Ama Bolton (Highly Commended)
- Nicholas McCarthy (Highly Commended)
- Carl Griffin (Commended)
- Sue Proffitt
- Kelly Davis
- Elaine Baker
- Kerry Darbishire
- Hélène Demetriades
Thank you again to everybody that took the time to enter this and our other competitions in 2020.
